Samanta García [Dark Mesh] is a Colombian artist based in the U.S. Her artwork reflects the existential dimensions of posthuman experience and the materiality of technology.
Her practice is intertextual and operates through the displacement of media, including audiovisual pieces, fictional stories, poetry, noise pieces, animated shorts, and experimental videos in which she often engages in dialogue with artists, writers, thinkers, and musicians, creating spaces for experimentation.
Samanta has worked as a teacher and given lectures on collaborative creation, hacker culture, and cyberfeminism. Her recent works include the album ESTOMA (2023), the short story LARVA (2026), and the music video Asteroxylon (2025) for the band VENERA.
